When your voice is repressed, how can you express yourself? You can dance in a private setting and move your body. In this portrait, my silent heroine celebrates her strength and resilience. Can you hear her voice?

It shows how they rebelled against their limited societal place, learning to move slowly and quietly, like a butterfly, creating a snowball effect with their inner strength. Using the paintings of Artemisia Gentileschi as inspiration, this image reflects a timeless desire to be free and independent and to finally find that powerful voice that society has suppressed for so long.
